You are working on designing and owning your own programme of learning for the next three weeks, which will result in a comparative analytical essay. This essay will compare three texts studied through the concept of the anti-hero. Today we devised a list of learning needs in order to feel confident as a class about completing this essay to the best of our abilities.
In pairs you will now design a ten minute activity which helps to teach one of the specific learning needs. [NB: I have switched the names around so that everyone is in a pair.] See below for a list of which pair will tackle which need. Your goal is to come up with and teach the activity to the rest of the class. The activity can be text based or can be more practical – such as a game or drama. You will have 2 weeks to design the activity and will be in communication with me in and out of lessons about how to go about this.
Your first job is to look at your assigned learning need and discuss with your partner how you think you could teach this. We will do some brainstorm work on this together in class, so DO NOT PANIC. This is supposed to be a challenge, but we will work together and it should be fun.

Was thinking the exact same thing myself. I’m really glad to hear you enjoyed it, we will definitely do some more of this. I’d like to put some of the excellent work you did for this onto the blog too, if that’s ok with you?
